Kershaw specially designed the 7500BLK Launch 4 Black Plain Edge Auto Folding Knife for Californians trying to avert laws intended for knives 2-inches and longer. With a blade length of only 1.9-inches, the Launch 4 is completely legal in the Golden State and loved by aficionados of short-blade autos everywhere. The blade won't disappoint with its high-end, CPM154 steel, manufactured using power metallurgy for a consistent distribution of carbides. This level of expert engineering ensures the blade will take and hold a superior edge, resisting corrosion and guaranteeing years of performance. A black diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating increases the blade's hardness and wear resistance while making the blade non-reflective for more stealthy applications. The black, anodized aluminum handle keeps the knife lightweight. A recessed push button and integrated backspacer, located in the handle, opens and locks the blade--ensuring safe handling while preventing accidental blade deployment.
