These FN barrels are hammer forged utilizing the same proprietary high grade Chrome Moly Vanadium steel which is used in FN machine gun barrels to handle the punishment of sustained full auto fire. Each barrel is High Pressure Tested and Magnetic Particle Inspected to ensure that it is free of micro-stresses or flaws resulting in consistent, quality barrels. The bore and chamber are chrome lined which improves barrel life and reliable chambering and extraction. Barrels includes M4 style feed ramps to provide consistent feeding and are finished in matte black manganese phosphate to provide long-term corrosion resistance.
