Some Traditions Need to Be Passed On
In November 1942 a legend was born when the US Marine Corp adopted a new fighting knife, which became simply known as the Ka-Bar. In the 80 plus years since, the Ka-Bar fighting knife has been the benchmark by which others are measured. The U.S. ARMY Ka-Bar Fighting Knife is built to the same level of ruggedness and durability as the original with the same classic pattern. The fixed, 7" 1095 Cro-Van steel blade is partially serrated to aid in cutting cordage and looped materials. A straight spine and clip-point tip provide the strength and control needed for piercing, stabbing, slashing and general cutting. For the traditionalist, the stacked leather handle gives the look and feel of a knife meant for serious work. Other than the U.S. ARMY tang stamp, this knife is just like the original.
